Advanced Fiction Workshop – CityLit

I’m thrilled to be teaching an advanced fiction workshop this term at CityLit, on Monday evenings. Ideal for those writers who have been working on their creative prose for some time and are keen to develop their manuscripts and workshop new ideas and techniques with likeminded students.

At the time of writing this, there are still a few spaces left. Join us!

Something Other

I’m really looking forward to being part of Something Other: an innovative project collecting performance, writing and their others. I’ve written a thing about petitions. Come join us at LADA in Hackney on Thursday night for experimental writing and performance! It’s free.

Paper Boats and Books: paperback launch, new flash fiction, paper boat making

I’m delighted to be hosting an evening with some of the best and loveliest new fiction writers in London – Rowan Hisayo Buchanan, Abigail Tarttelin, Hannah Begbie, Anna Mazzola, Fran Cooper and Gemmer Seltzer – to launch the paperback of The Invisible Crowd and, riffing off the cover, present some NEW flash fiction on the theme of boats. There will be wine, and the chance to make origami boats and write flash of your own. Come join us!

PRIMROSE HILL LIBRARY

I'm going to be speaking at Primrose Hill Community Library about The Invisible Crowd together with another debut novelist, Desmond Astley-Cooper. It'll be a treat. And there will be home-cooked food, apparently, as well as wine. Join us.
